Our PhD student, Talor Witham, who is working on assessing the threats of pinewood nematode to forestry in the UK, recently attended the 2023 IUFRO International Symposium on Pine Wilt Disease in Nanjing, China, along with her Forest Research supervisor Dr Anna Platoni.

Talor was originally attending to present a poster on her work on exploring , but at the last minute was asked to do an oral presentation. We are proud to say that, not only did she pull together a great talk, but she also won first prize for the best presentation!
